Everett Gospel Mission first opened its doors in 1961 to care for the homeless men of Everett. Today, the Mission continues to be the only provider of emergency shelter for men. The mission has expanded to include services for single moms and single women. We provide shelter and comprehensive recovery programs for 145 men, and 75 women and children each night.

We provide all services without regard to age, gender, race or religion while sharing the love of Christ.

Everett Gospel Mission is a member in good standing of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, and is managed by community volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors, as well as our CEO, Sylvia Anderson.

As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, we are audited annually by an independent firm. 90% of our funding is provided by individuals, businesses, churches and foundations.

Mission Statement

Everett Gospel Mission Engages with the Community to Alleviate Poverty

Statement of faith

We believe the Bible to be inspired and infallible, authoritative Word of God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, and His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto eternal separation from God.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
