Everett Gospel Mission has been serving men, women, and families in Snohomish County since 1961. We alleviate poverty through dignified shelter, wrap-around support, and community engagement — and everyone is welcomed without discrimination.
"Alleviating homelessness, hunger, addiction and poverty for men, women and families in Everett, Washington and across Snohomish County. Everyone is welcomed without discrimination and treated with dignity and respect."
egm is the largest faith-based poverty alleviation organization in Snohomish County. We are the only emergency shelter for single men, the largest shelter provider for single women, and we run a dedicated shelter for families — providing emergency services with wrap-around support.
egm is committed to providing dignified shelter. That's why we invented this bed, now used in shelters across the country. Today, we're innovating with an entire facility.
egm is expanding. The Smith Campus Expansion is Snohomish County’s most ambitious step yet toward ending chronic homelessness — a new congregate shelter model designed by listening to the people we serve.
As featured on KING 5 News — our community is preparing for a growing need, and egm is building the infrastructure to meet it.
