Smith Campus

A Gateway to a Stable Future

“We want the people who come to the Mission to feel respected and supported. We see a person who has value.” –John Hull, CEO

Each day, men, women, and children come to egm in need of safety, stability and support.

Some arrive looking for a meal, a bed, a shower, or clean clothes. Others come carrying the weight bof long seasons of hardship, isolation, addition, or loss. Whatever brings them here, each person is welcomed with dignity and respect.

The Smith Campus is the only emergency men’s shelter in all of Snohomish and much of Island Counties.

We are also the largest provider of emergency shelter for women.

Together we provide more than a place to sleep. We offer space to rest, catch one’s breath, and begin taking next steps toward greater stability.

Neighbors in our residential programs receive personalized care, nutritious meals, clean clothing, and a safe place to stay. They also have access to spiritual support, addiction recovery, life-skills training, employment help, and other services designed to support long-term change.

At egm, we know immediate needs matter. So do relationship, consistency, and trust. That’s why our work goes beyond emergency shelter alone. Together we walk alongside people with practical support and compassionate care, creating space where healing, growth, and hope can take root.
