Turkey Shortage!

Mashed potatoes. Stuffing. Cranberry sauce. Pumpkin pie. Something’s missing. The centerpiece of Thanksgiving. The turkey.

We’ve been collecting frozen turkeys all month, but we still don’t have enough to feed the more than 500 homeless and hungry guests who need a good, hot meal Thanksgiving day.

With so many of our neighbors in need this season, we’re getting stretched thin. As the only shelter in Everett that’s open 365 days, we will be the last hope for many people on Thanksgiving. But we won’t be able to feed them and offer them the hope of a changed life if we run out of food!

We urgently need the following items:

• Frozen turkeys
• Potatoes
• Canned cranberry sauce
• Packaged stuffing
• Canned vegetables
