Poverty Training
Everyone knows what poverty and homelessness look like, but how much more do you really know?
The reality is, the misconceptions about life on the streets and how people get there are growing faster by the day. That’s why we are excited to invite you to become an anti-poverty ally.
We’ve launched a new Poverty Awareness and Ally Training class designed to teach people in Snohomish County the truth about poverty and equip them with key tools to help their neighbors in a meaningful way.
Each class lasts just one day and includes two parts. Not only will you learn the truth about poverty, you’ll also get the opportunity to build a relationship with someone who is working to get out of poverty.
