See the live announcement from Sylvia!
Sylvia Anderson, who has been Everett Gospel Mission’s Chief Executive Officer since 2000, is retiring on June 30.
Over the past 24 years, Sylvia has been instrumental in making the Mission the life-changing ministry and pillar of our community that it is today. But the biggest part of why people’s lives change here is because of God’s goodness and the generosity of people like you.
As we say goodbye to Sylvia, we are thrilled to have John Hull, who has served at the Mission since 2006 step into the CEO role.
Having served alongside Sylvia for the past 18 years, John knows the Mission and has been intricately involved in a lot of the work to serve the people of Snohomish County. We believe that God has been preparing him for this moment and he is just what the Mission, and our community, needs as we begin a new chapter.
We’re delighted to have him apply his unique experience as our CEO and lead EGM. Together we will continue to provide food, shelter, and holistic, Christ-centered care to men, women and children experiencing homelessness or are trapped in poverty.
The CEO may be the leader that the community knows the most about, but we know that it’s partners like you that truly are the life-blood of this ministry.
Say Thank You!
If you have the chance, please join us in thanking Sylvia for her service by sharing a memory, leaving a thought of thanks, or recording a personal video.
