There are seasons in life when everything feels unstable.
A job disappears. A relationship breaks down. Health fails. Suddenly the ground beneath you doesn’t feel as steady as it once did. Most of us have experienced moments like that − times when the future felt uncertain and we wondered how we would move forward.
For many of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, that feeling of instability isn’t just a moment. It becomes daily life.
When you’re worried about where you’ll sleep, how you’ll eat or who you can trust, it’s hard to think about tomorrow. It’s hard to imagine rebuilding anything at all.
That’s one of the reasons Everett Gospel Mission exists.
We want our campus to be a place where people can breathe again. A place where someone who has been living in chaos can begin to experience safety, compassion and the steady love of Christ.
I’m reminded often that this is how Jesus met people. He didn’t rush past their pain or shame them for their struggles. He met them with truth, tenderness and an invitation to new life.
And slowly, step by step, lives began to change.
I’m grateful for partners like you who walk alongside us in this work. Together we’re creating spaces where people can find stability, encounter Christ’s love and begin again.
