The HEN (Housing and Essential Needs) program
provides practical support to people in our
community who are facing serious challenges.
Helping people move from crisis toward stability
often requires more than one organization.
That’s why we partner with the City of Everett’s
CARE (Community Assistance and Response to
Emergencies) Team.
Opened in July 2021 in partnership with the City of Everett, and named by guests as Palisades Village, this community provides a safe place for individuals who have experienced long-term homelessness.
A new way for people to donate vehicles to support egm’s mission. It’s a simple way to turn a car, truck, van, motorcycle, RV, or boat you no longer need into meaningful support for the work of alleviating poverty in Snohomish County.

The appropriation supporting egm’s Smith Campus expansion has made it through Washington’s state budget process
This is a meaningful moment for egm, and we don’t want to move past it without saying thank you.
The answer includes urgent needs like food, shelter, clothing, and hygiene items. But it also includes safety, dignity, stability, and the kind of support that helps people move toward lasting change.
