WORKING TOGETHER: THE CARE TEAM

Helping people move from crisis toward stability often requires more than one organization.

That’s why we partner with the City of Everett’s CARE (Community Assistance and Response to Emergencies) Team. The CARE Team focuses on outreach to people who are experiencing crisis on the streets − meeting individuals where they are and helping connect them with immediate support and services.

From there, egm often becomes the next step.

While the CARE Team works with people during moments of crisis, egm provides support for those who are beginning the difficult transition toward stability. Many individuals we serve are working to rebuild their lives after long periods of homelessness. That journey doesn’t happen overnight. People often move back and forth between moments of progress and moments of struggle as they work toward long-term stability.

Because of this reality, the partnership between the CARE Team and egm is essential.

Together, our teams respond to both urgent needs and the ongoing support people need to move forward.

Through this collaboration, more people in Everett can find the care, compassion and guidance they need to move from crisis toward stability and begin building a promising future.
